All-New 2025 Nissan Murano Arrives In Canada In Early 2025
October 17 2024, Centennial Nissan
The fourth version of Nissan's popular midsize crossover arrives in early 2025 as an all-new model with avant-garde design, heaps of technology, terrific power, and a truly premium cabin. The 2025 Nissan Murano resets the clock following the arrival of the first Murano in 2003, the second-generation Murano in 2009, and the third-generation in 2015. You can learn more about the Murano's history via our Summerside store's recap.
True to form, the latest Murano hits the market with bold and distinctive design. There's never been anything that looked quite like a Murano, and while there are cues that connect one Murano to the next – and the Murano to other Nissans – the 2025 iteration is very clearly a new version.
For 2025, every version of the fourth-generation Murano will be equipped with all-wheel drive. Power comes from a very efficient 2.0-liter variable-compression turbo cranking out 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. That power runs through a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Clever new available features include:
- • an Invisible Hood View that allows you to see – virtually – "through the engine bay to help spot car wash tracks, drive-through curbs, or other obstacles," Nissan says.
- • There's also a new level of ProPILOT Assist, ProPILOT Assist 1.1 – that uses "navigation data to proactively adjust speed ahead of curves, based on data about the vehicle's planned route."
- • The Around View Monitor is now a 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor. Choose from up to eight vantage points beyond the previous Murano's bird's-eye view.
- • All of this is displayed on a massive new display. In fact, every new Murano includes dual 12.3-inch displays that are also home to wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Slotted in between the Rogue and Pathfinder, the five-seat 2025 Murano is slightly larger than before, offering 931.6 litres of cargo space or 1,798 litres with the seats lowered.
The 2025 Nissan Murano will initially be offered in three trim levels: SV, SL, and Platinum. The new Murano SV's list of standard features is lengthy. Highlights include:
